My name is Mokihana. I am makua o'o an elder in training in the Hawaiian culture; a writer and storyteller living on Whidbey Island, in the Salish Sea (the Pacific Northwest US). My husband and I live with a black cat named G Jots, two black hens, two ducks,three brown chicks and two of our best human friends.We dig into life with passion and passionately love this Earth, the sky, the water, and the protocol of living here we learn by living here.
